Operations Associate Seasonal

Overview

We are seeking a Part-time Operations Associate Seasonal in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving material, inputting data and other inventory movement within a computerized system with accuracy while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications * Must be a minimum of 16 years old * Strong experience and aptitude with computers * Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility * Must possess the ability to safely and efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack Sequoia Demo Company International International is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities

Essential Functions * Assemble electronic components, subassemblies and systems * Read shop orders, follow production work instruction and sample assemblies and receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed * Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding device using hand or power tools. * Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis, panel or printed circuit board * Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets * Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware such as caps, clamps and knobs to assemblies using hand tools and power tools * Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding and curing. * Tend and perform operator level preventive maintenance on machines and equipment. * Notify management of any conditions felt as being undesirable or nonconforming to product specification and any procedures that can not be performed as documented * Compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements * Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility. * Must possess a high degree of dexterity and eye coordination, to allow manipulation of buttons, switches, hand tools and knobs on delicate equipment, products and parts, in the performance of essential functions * This position will require the ability to sit, stand, look down, bend, twist and have dexterity with hands * Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment * Must meet quality and productivity metrics * Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion * Comply with all safety standards and policies * Compliance with HRD-003 (Sequoia Demo Company International's Attendance Policy) * Comply with all corporate and departmental procedures * Cross-train, as needed to learn all material handler functions
