Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial administration
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
- Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Knowledge of payroll processing and bank reconciliation
- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
- Experience supporting small businesses, startups, or multiple clients is a plus
- Additional accounting or bookkeeping certifications preferred
Technical Skills:
- Candidates should be proficient in one or more of the following:
- QuickBooks
- Xero
- NetSuite
- Sage
- FreshBooks
- Wave Accounting
- Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Bank reconciliation and journal entries
- Invoice processing and billing management
- Financial reporting and bookkeeping documentation
- Payroll processing and payroll tax support
- Accounts cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping
- Expense tracking and budget monitoring

- Month-end and year-end closing support
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Multi-entity bookkeeping support
- Cloud-based accounting systems and financial tools
What to expect...
Schedule: Majority of our clients are within US business hours from Monday to Friday but some may have unusual business hours. Opportunities may be full-time or part-time.
Compensation: Rate starts at $5 per hour Payment is made via Deel
Equipment: Candidate must have the following WFH Set-Up: Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up Internet speed of at least 40MBPS Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam Back-up computer and internet connection Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
